Professional Development Services

The Director of Professional Development oversees professional development programs, acts as a resource person on career development and preparation for undergraduate engineers, and works to promote interaction between students and industry on campus. The opportunities and resources listed below are provided to you by EngSoc because we want to see you grow professionally!

Professional Development Workshops

Throughout the term, we run a series of workshops run jointly by the Director of Professional Development and Career Services. Make sure you come out to some as they will be tailored specifically for engineering students!

AutoCAD Workshops

AutoCAD is an industry-standard program that is highly desirable by employers in many different engineering positions. A basic proficiency of AutoCAD is something to put on your resume that will differentiate you from the other applicants.

The Engineering Society offers several AutoCAD workshops throughout the year, taught by a third-party professional instructor. The dates for the workshops are currently TBA

Information Sessions and Industry Events
