You delegate tasks, make sure people are up to date and doing a good job, pick the meeting spot and book times every week. Additionally you have a vote at EngSoc Council every week and must attend to voice the first year opinion on important issues
  • Vice President -Second in Command to the President, you are the Z to their Dragonball. You are there for your President to fall back on in times of sickness and tests. You are their best friend and help organize your people whenever possible. Additionally you have a vote at EngSoc Council every week and must attend to voice the first year opinion on important issues
  • AMS Rep -In the great tree of Student Government life, the Alma Mater Society is on the top. Your job is to attend Alma Mater Society Assembly, to represent the first year engineering society voice to the entire undergraduate school, as well as representing the first year voice at EngSoc Council. You will also aid your year executive whenever you are able
  • Faculty Board Rep - Want to be Kinda-A-Big-Deal? Your job includes rubbing elbows with the senior faculty members (including the dean!), and discussing/influencing changes in the faculty at Faculty Board meetings. Additionally you have a vote at EngSoc Council every week and must attend to voice the first year opinion on important issues.
  • Event Coordinator (3) - You can make or break the spirit of your year. You and the other events coordinators will be in charge or running the events your year will be attending. What those events will be is completely up to you. Semi-formal’s, BBQ’s, partying with the Nurses is all on you. Have good ideas so that your year will have lots of fun!
  • Treasurer - Money Money Money Money. Every time your year sells merchandise, tickets to an event, or makes any sort of transaction that money all goes through you.  You’ll be coordinating with the Director of Finance to make sure any money your year spends on food for bbq, gets reimbursed properly, as well as that your year executive spends money in a smart way.
  • Scribe/Publicity Guru - Every meeting needs minutes from it, and that is your job. Write down the details of what is happening and send out the minutes to everyone so no one mixes up Greece with Grease in your event planning.  Additionally it will be your job to get the word out in Golden Words as well as e-mailing your entire year about all the sweet events you will be holding.
  • Year Merchandise (2) - It gets cold out without clothes, and what better clothes are there then ones with your year written all over them. Be it rub on tattoos, or toasty warm sweaters it is your job to design and order them. Having some cool ideas and sweet photo editing skills is recommended.
  • Athletics Representative (2) - One guy and one girl get elected to represent engineering at Bewic. Keep your year healthy and organize some sweet games of soccer baseball.
  • Sci Formal Representative (2) - The biggest and best event of your whole time at Queen’s should be Science Formal. Representatives work until November by hanging out at the work shop making sure people have all the tools they need and sign in correctly.  After November you’re homefree to help your year executive in whatever way they need you.
  • Webmaster (2) - A cool website for your year is always a good way to keep people informed of events, help them know who you all are and advertise your sweet year merchandise. Be your group’s web-guru and get people informed.
