This project is both an amazing opportunity and a lot of fun. That being said it is a large commitment and to get something out of the program you must first put the time in. Whether you have prior knowledge or not you can and will be successful on this team only if you are dedicated.

Membership Application Form

The Queen's Formula SAE team has been on campus since 1993 and is a great way to gain real-world engineering knowledge and allows you to apply what you learn in the classroom. It allows you to connect with other students throughout Queen's who have similar interests. It is one of the most rewarding experiences and team to be apart of.

All team members work on any project related to their interests. Main areas members work on are: Engine, Electrical, Body Work, Suspension, Brakes, Chassis, Marketing, Business, Simulation, Component Validation and more.

Past Formula Alumni have gone on to do amazing things in the field of race car engineering. Many have gone on to top graduate schools in Europe, as well as becoming professional test drivers and engineers in Formula One, GP Bikes, the Daytona Prototype team and more.
