First Year Project Coordinators, or FYPCOs, are hired by the Engineering Society to help the executives, directors, and the services with parts of their portfolio. Some FYPCOs will be working on a single project for the entire year, while others will work on several smaller projects. That said, all FYPCOs will gain an in depth understanding of the Engineering Society, meet new people, and learn new skills.
There are a different number of available positions ever year. This year, there are about 15 positions, with time commitments ranging from 30 minutes per week to 5 hours per week. When you apply to become a FYPCO, you don’t need to apply for a specific position. Once you’re hired, you will be able to choose which specific position you’d like to take.
If you have any questions about the FYPCO program, email the Director of First Year at firstname.lastname@example.org!
